Chapel & Church Alter Construction

In January 2007 Fr. Gerry McCormack of St. Mary’s church Navan came to us with a request to go to Clara Co. Offaly. He had located an altar in a convent. The convent was been sold and the altar would probably have been dumped.

We dismantled the altar and brought it back to our workshop. Here we stored it until september when we started to work on it. Every piece had to be rebuilt in the new chapel. This process took 3 months.

Along with the altar we built a new ambo out of white marble.

The chapel was blessed on December 8th 2007 by bishop Michael Smith.
